String quilt donated fabric

One of our members donated some beautiful strips of fabric. These strips are becoming part of a string quilt. This quilt will be added to our community donation quilts.

Program Change

Bring a fat quarter (autumn color)  for a quick fall decorating idea.

Bring a favorite Fall Quilted item you like to decorate with for show and tell.  It can be anything from a Halloween pillow, Turkey table mat to a quilt in autumn colors.

Bring ideas for the Christmas Party and future programs.

Thanks to all for a successful social with the Lathrop and Trenton area quilt guilds.  We had 34 attending and lots of great food!  The silent auction table brought in $250 to pay for our expenses and leave excess for our treasury.  Thanks to Charlotte, Erma, Romme, Teressa, Maxine, Sue, Darlene, Daniela, Pat, Carolyn and Mary Beth for contributing items.  A special thanks to Pat for helping me set up the room early.  Everyone pitched in to help with kitchen and clean up also.
