The guild accomplished a lot today at the Saturday Sew Day. We got 3 quilts pieced and they are ready to be quilted. Our next sew day is April 12th. We will continue working on community quilts at that time.
For those who are interested, the official Facebook page for Twisted Stitchers Quilt Guild is now under construction. This blog will still be used, and updates will now be posted in both places. If you have anything at all that you want posted, please send to the president's email address.

Monday, March 10, 2014

As you probably know, Saturday, March 15, has been designated National Quilting Day.  All guild members are invited to meet at the Quilt Lodge in Hamilton, MO for a Sew Day.  The plan is to make community/donation quilts from the nine patch blocks and the magic string blocks that were made previously.  Come at 09:00am and stay for as long as you wish.  You are certainly welcome to work on projects other than the community quilts.

Don’t forget to bring your sewing machine and supplies.  And something good to eat for the salad/desert bar.

It will be fun!  See you then.

Carl teaches quilting at local quilt shops in Kansas and Missouri.
