Just a reminder about our quarterly Saturday workshop on April 13th. We will be constructing floral log cabin blocks starting at 9AM. Maxine is bringing one of her gorgeous completed quilts and I will be bringing floral fabrics to share. If you wish to do some prep work, this pattern calls for 2" strips with a 3 1/2" center square. Here's a tip from Maxine: The light half of the block should have a white/light tones for a good contrast with the dark side. A lot of florals read medium when cut in strips and sewn in the block. Maxine will also share different patterns for setting a log cabin quilt.
Come and go as you please, bring whatever you wish for lunch and/or snacks. Here's a chance to try out the new Baby Lock machines in the classroom. The only rule is to have fun!
