TREASURER’S REPORT:

BLOCK OF THE MONTH: Block of the month was handed out by
Romme
COMMUNITY SERVICE
QUILTS: 18 to 20 quilts will be needed for the Baptist Nursing Home. Sue stated
there were 12 completed with 6 more to be quilted. Also 5 baby quilts to be
given out. Sue suggested they be given to Darlene so that she could give them
to the state patrol.
OLD BUSINESS: A discussion was held on possible day trip
for the group. Some suggestions were Fabric Quilt, Quilt museum. The quilt show
in Braymer was announced. It will be held May 16. Romme reminded everyone about
the guild challenge. She also said that a new wool, rug hooking store had open
in Georgeville.
SHOW AND TELL: Had some more beautiful quilts shown and
pictures were taken.
Next program is
suppose to be Jenny but not confirmed.
Linda gave a great
presentation with hands on embroidery projects. Linda provided the thread,
needles and patterns. It was fun to try the stitches and Linda suggested
everyone to finish and put into a project. Great job Linda.
